Thaba Eco Hotel is one of our favorite venues. It's right on our doorstep, for one, and they have a fabulous leafy backdrop for another. This Saturday, we ventured to Muldersdrift in the west of Johannesburg for Elané and Vermeulen's wonderful wedding. This weekend we celebrated a 50th birthday with a captain of industry at Radisson Blu Hotel in Sandton. What started as a fairly reserved affair quickly ratcheted up to a non-stop photo taking bonanza with every aunt and her uncle filing into the photo booth. We travel an average of 5000 kilometres a month, mostly on weekends, for birthdays, weddings, award ceremonies and more.
